Benchmark

CORGI
is the national watchdog for gas safety. It's role is to maintain a
register of competent gas installers for Great Britain, Northern
Ireland and the Isle of Man.

scheme operator under the Government-inspired TrustMark initiative. The

IDHEE is an independent non-profit making professional body, founded in
1964, serving the Domestic Heating Engineer for more than 40 years. The
IDHEE is still the pre-eminent professional body for the domestic
heating engineer. The Institute aims to promote energy efficient
domestic central heating components and the installation of safe and
efficient systems.

MODUS
(Manufacturers Of Domestic Unvented Systems) is an association of
companies whom produce/market mains pressure (unvented) hot water
systems or associated controls/products. The Objective MODUS is to
encourage the use of unvented hot water systems, within the United
Kingdom. The long-term desire of MODUS is for unvented systems to
become the standard for UK domestic hot water production like all other
developed countries in the world.

Scottish & Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers' Federation (SNIPEF)
is the national trade association for all types of firms involved in
the plumbing and domestic heating industry in Scotland and Northern

Society of British Gas Industries
Since
its formation in 1905, the SBGI has been the only trade association
covering the whole of the onshore gas industry. In recent years its
scope has extended to other parts of the other energy and utilities
sector. The SBGI has two organisational divisions - Utility
Networks and the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC). It also
provides secretariat services to several other organisations within the
energy and utilities sector.

Water Regulations Advisory Scheme
The
Water Regulations Advisory Scheme approves water fittings and materials
that meet the minimum requirements of the Water Supply (Water Fittings)
Regulations 1999 in England and Wales, The Water Byelaws 2000 in
Scotland and the Water Regulations in Northern Ireland.
